Vietnamese Managers Preparing for Dresden Stay

First group in new 2019/2020 project period arrives in April

The interests are broadly diversified: on the one hand it is about acquiring new customers for LED products and outdoor fashion, on the other hand the 20 Vietnamese managers want to acquire German suppliers for yoghurt and logistics know-how during their forthcoming stay in Germany. The managers will complete the four-week BMWI manager training program "Fit for Partnership with Germany" at GICON® InTraBiD GmbH in Dresden beginning 22 April 2019. GICON® InTraBiD is one of 18 advanced training centers in Germany that implement the program. It has been bringing the program to life for the last five years on behalf of the Deutschen Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) and has just been confirmed for the next project period in 2019/2020.

The Vietnamese executives, supported on site by GICON® InTraBiD experts, prepared themselves for the program with an introductory workshop in Ho-Chi-Minh-City and Hanoi. In Germany, they can expect a packed but manageable program consisting of training sessions, group visits to companies in various sectors and individual business meetings. In addition to knowledge and experience in international business, the participants also want to learn about innovations in personnel management, quality assurance and technical areas in the industries they represent.

Geared to this are company many site visits, including to IMM electronics in Mittweida, to the Dresden Technology Centre and for a meeting with the second largest Vietnamese community in Germany, which has developed in Leipzig.
